"I still feel grateful about my chosen profession after ten years of being a dermatologist. I continue to take pride in my work and I have a spring in my step each day because I know each day brings new challenges and I am up to the task. I enjoy my work immensely because of the variety. A day can be composed of skin exams and surgeries to cosmetic encounters and acne. There is never the same repetition.

Patients often ask me why I like my job. It is easy to like my work because each patient encounter means I get to learn something new about someone or learn something more about a patient I have seen previously. I get to meet patients from all walks of life, such as artists, farmers, other physicians, students and many more. I feel so lucky to be able to help and meet such a wide variety of individuals daily and learn about their work, lives and travels. It is truly a privilege for me to be a physician and I am truly fortunate to get to meet so many caring, wonderful human beings each day!" -Alizabeth L. Truong, M.D.
